Belt Loops, Pins & Badges
We offer two-hour classes in belt loops, pins and merit badges from 1-5 on Sundays. This includes Heritages, Collecting, Wildlife Conservation, Weather, Cultures, Geology, Geography and Map & Compass. Other sessions can be arranged by request. We also offer Girls of Grit, a special program for Brownies and Girl Scouts and their mothers or guardians that highlights the contributions of girls and women in Texas history. Campouts
Campout beneath the stars in a close-in, secure site that lets you overnight amid Texas history. You'll feel like you're miles from the 21st Century. For Scout groups and community organizations. Sites in our historic areas and natural greenbelts. Each will accomodate up to 150 campers, with restrooms, fire pits or cooking hearths. Available year-round by reservation. Price is $10 per camper. Circle of Fire
Experience a real Circle of Fire ceremony as once celebrated by the First Texans, on a hallowed historic site where the Tonkawa Indians once lived centuries ago. Book this special show with a campout at Pioneer Farms, or as a special outing for your Scout of community group. Includes artifacts and other displays, plus a real-life history lesson you won't soon forget — as coyotes, night birds and other wildlife often answer a native flute performance beneath the moon.
