Join our Pioneer Farmer to meet our animal friends at the historic Texas farmsteads in a special hands-on farm tour will give kids a chance to get up close and personal with our animals with a handler present, from the clucking chickens to the cute donkeys and horses.

Barnyard Buddies tours are targeted for ages 5-9, but all ages are welcome. The special tours are by reservation only, and are limited to 10 children per tour. A parent must accompany their child or children on the tour.

Participants are asked to wear long pants and close-toed shoes that have not been in chicken coops on other farms. If they have, please clean the shoes in advance with bleach to keep from bringing viruses into our coops — to keep our birds healthy.

Demonstration tour conducted on listed dates from March to July and September to November, $15 per participant, youth and adult, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (2 hours). By advance reservation only.
