Girl Scout Program
Join us for a private Girls of Grit guided history tour to learn about the hidden history and roles of women throughout the last half of the nineteenth century in central Texas. Your trip through time will include learning about a diverse group of women.
Follow your trip back in time by participating in period activities. Choose two from the list below.
Weaving
Corn husk dolls
Playing period games
Fee: $10 per scout, other chaperones and family members pay regular admission
Time: 3 hours
Everyone is welcome on the guided history tour. While girls participate in the period activities a minimum of 1 chaperone per five scouts is required and a maximum of one chaperone per scout is allowed. Other family members or chaperones can use this time to explore the farm on their own.
This program is available on Saturdays and Sundays from September through May with flexible start times. Can be scheduled with or without a campout.
This program requires a minimum of 15 participants, at least 5 of them must be Scouts.
