Learn how to select the best site and structure for your garden to meet your backyard gardening goals. We'll cover the best plants for beginners to start growing, as well as when and how to plant them. At the end of the class you'll be ready to grow your own groceries. Beginner top intermediate level. February, March and April classes will focus on spring and summer plantings, and August and September classes will focus on fall and winter plantings. Basics book provided for enrolled students.

Instruction Class. Taught second Sunday of February and March (spring and summer planting) and August and September (fall and winter planting) onsite from 1-5 p.m. (4 hours), $75 per student.

Important notice: No refunds are allowed once the enrollment fee is received. Students who cannot attend a class for whatever reason may reschedule once, on a space-available basis.
