Basic Weaving
Learn the warps and wefts of weaving, in this introductory class to weaving, the historic production of fabric. This class offers the basics so that you can leave with a hankering to weave. When the class ends, you should know the difference between shedding, picking and battening — and get rolling on your first project. Materials provided.
ONSITE: Hands-On Class. Taught at our 1886 Bell Farm’s spinning room on the first Sunday of March, June, September and December, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. $60 per student. Dress for the weather on class day. Bring a bottle of water.
Important notice: No refunds are allowed once the enrollment fee is received. Students who cannot attend a class for whatever reason may reschedule once, on a space-available basis.
